Established in 2012, Velvet Rider has experienced incredible growth and continues to blossom. With extensive experience in the fashion market, my keen eye for style and a passion for spotting “the next big thing” form the cornerstone of my work. I love weaving the tapestry of the equestrian lifestyle, seamlessly blending it from the barn into everyday life.
My equestrian journey began at the tender age of seven, and ever since, my life has revolved around these majestic animals. Currently, my equine family includes Taylor, an off-the-track Thoroughbred, the adventurous Theodore, my Oldenburg gelding focusing on dressage, and my former schoolmaster, Petey, who left us in June 2019. Each of them brings their unique flair – Taylor, the diva, Theodore, the explorer, and Petey, a drama queen. Our training sessions are full of character and surprises. I’ve learned so much from them, especially Petey, who always challenged me and made our sessions interesting.
Apart from my equestrian endeavors, I’m also a freelance writer, constantly exploring avenues to express my passion for writing. My articles have graced the pages of Horse Illustrated, Horsemen’s Roundup, and several esteemed websites. Your inquiries and connections are always welcomed!
