For anyone who knows me personally you’ll know that I start a significant number of conversations with the line, “So I was listening to this podcast…”. For someone who loves to consume information and conversations in this way, it seemed natural that I would eventually start my own.
But I’m also a bit of a scaredy-cat. Rather than going it alone I got in touch with some of my favourite equestrian bloggers with the idea to start an international equestrian themed podcast. And just like that the Equestrian Pulse was born! With Heather Wallace (aka The Timid Rider) and Louise Dando (aka In Due Horse) on board The Equestrian Pulse podcast was born.
While horsey podcasts will always share a special place in my heart, I also love more conversational podcasts too. My idea was to bring to peoples ears, interesting conversations with interesting equestrians of all ages and disciplines from around the world.
And so far we have notched up some pretty cool interviews. From blogger and influencer Raquel Lynn (Horse and Heels and Stable Style), to the founders of unique equestrian brands like Reddingote and Sterling Essentials, to performance coaches and personalities from the equestrian world!
So who are your podcast hosts?

Heather Wallace is an animal masseuse, author and entrepreneur who hails from New Jersey. On her blog The Timid Rider Heather shares her journey as an adult returning rider who is cautious, sometimes anxious but always determined to be bold! She owns her gorgeous pony Ferrous who she shares with her three daughters!
Louise Dando was born in the UK, but now lives in the French countryside with her Husband James. While Louise has dipped her toe into a number of parts of the equestrian world her heart lies with jumping. Her blog is an equestrian lifestyle guide where Louise shares her journey with her horse Mya, interviews with inspirational equestrians, fun equestrian facts (like 10 facts about the Queen and her horses) and product reviews.
She also hosts a book club https://induehorse.com/category/book-club/

And last but not least is me! Dressage rider, wannabe tackless rider and dietitian from sunny Queensland Australia!
