30 Day Challenge for Rural and Equestrian Bloggers

Written by Andrea Parker

For the month of February Sophie Callahan Photography is hosting a 30 Day Challenge on Instagram. Although I am running a bit behind schedule with it, I really wanted to take part. While it is an Insta-Challenge I decided I wanted to have it all together in one spot. So without further ado…

Day 1

The first challenge was to introduce yourself. I decided to do this via a vlog (my first ever!), with Nonie by my side of course. You can take a look at this vlog here.

The Day 2

Ok so I may have sort of cheated with this one. The day two challenge was to share your work space. I suppose the traditional way to interpret this as a blogger would be to share a photo of my desk. Here’s the thing though, I do my best thinking in the shower and have my most creative idea’s on horseback. As such it seemed fitting to share a photo from my arena/riding area.

Day 3

I do love a good quote, and this one just happens to be one of my favorites. For me, it emphasizes how important it is not to underestimate a determined, passionate person.

Day 3 of the 30 Day Challenge was to share an inspirational quote

For those of you who have been following our journey you’ll know that I’ve set a number of goals for 2018. I believe that setting goals is important and helps to give direction to your ‘work in progress’.

Day 5

For day 5 of the 30 day challenge I shared ‘a pretty picture and a valuable tip’. The photo I shared was from my medium level debut in 2017 taken by the supremely talented Jordan Wicks Photography. She really manages to capture those special moments between horse and rider.

My tip – find a coach you click with, one who believes in you and pushes you out of your comfort zone to support your growth. I feel incredibly lucky to have found that it my current coach – Danielle Keogh.

Stayed tuned as I share the remaining challenges!

NOTE – if you are wondering what has happened to day 6 that would be a good question. After posting  my day 7 challenge, I realised that I had not posted a day six photo… whoops. Let’s blame that on fatigue and (my one) cider.

Love it? Share it!
